Cooperation

University

Collaboration with industry and international cooperation are two very important factors in the development of the University and its faculties. Therefore, the Center for International Cooperation has been established at the level of the University Business Academy. Its main objective is internationalization: realization of joint projects and mobility of students and teaching staff.

A large number of cooperation agreements have already been signed with higher education institutions from other European countries. In this way, University Business Academy in Novi Sad achieves international recognition for education and scientific work and its diplomas are easily comparable and recognized across borders.

Through the interaction of scientific research and educational services, driven by the needs of the environment and our immediate users, we provide a broad, flexible range of high quality study programs at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral study levels, thus creating a dynamic learning community committed to continuous quality improvement.

Accreditation

University

Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of the Republic of Serbia accredited University Business Academy in Novi Sad as a higher education institution, as certified by a decree no.: 612-00-00354/4/2020-03, as of June 14, 2021.

Accreditation represents an official proof that a higher education institution and study programs meet the standards set by the National Council and that the accredited higher education institution has the right to issue public documents in accordance with the Law on Higher Education.

In the process of accreditation, higher education institutions are observed and evaluated according to the set accreditation criteria in order to determine whether they meet the appropriate requirements prescribed by the Law on Higher Education and pertaining to higher education institutions.

The University Business Academy in Novi Sad comprises eight accredited faculties: Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad, Faculty of Dental Medicine in Pančevo, Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance in Belgrade, Faculty of Pharmacy, Novi Sad, Faculty of Contemporary Arts, Belgrade, Faculty of European Legal and Political Studies, Novi Sad and Faculty of Social Sciences, Belgrade, all of which offer studies at all three study levels i.e. tiers of higher education in the following scientific areas: social and humanistic, technical/technological, natural sciences and mathematics, medical sciences and lastly - art.

Higher education institutions can begin to work and perform educational activities only after obtaining an operating license. This license is issued by the Ministry, at the request of a higher education institution, whilst on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina this permit is issued by the local i.e. provincial authorities responsible for work in education.

Accreditation certificate

On June 14, 2021, the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance has reached a decision of successful re-accreditation of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, as stated in the decree no.: 612-00-00354/4/2020-03. Re-accreditation certificate can be downloaded here:

External Quality Assurance Report

At the meeting held on May 23, 2014, the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance adopted a report on the external quality assurance check of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, in which it was stated that the University has received a positive assessment after the external quality check, and that it has made considerable progress in the last five years. The strategic orientation of the University

"Our University’s future development largely depends on scientific and research work. We have good potentials for that at our University, and this should only be further encouraged and guided towards scientific recognition both in the Republic of Serbia and in the wider Southeast Europe area. International projects represent the backbone of our future work and our goal is to put a special focus on applying to international projects, such as: HORIZON EUROPE, COST, ERASMUS, IPA, INTERREG, SCOPES etc.

In our opinion, the University Business Academy must be strongly oriented towards comprehensive internationalization, by which we primarily imply membership in the YUFE (Young Universities for the Future of Europe) partnership. YUFE is the best-rated University network of the European Commission's largest pilot project (Erasmus+), known as the European University Initiative. Such memberships include strategic cooperation in all areas, with an emphasis on open programs for students, quality systems based on attractive curricula, innovative methods and a digitally transformed learning process."
