Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance in Belgrade
The Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance in Belgrade was founded in 2000. It has been accredited for three study levels: undergraduate studies, master studies and doctoral studies. The Institute for Strategic Development, Entrepreneurship and Business processes, which is an organizational unit within the Faculty, has also received accreditation for research.
The Faculty library, comprising scientific literature and educational materials has also been accredited. The Faculty has also received special certification for the quality of teaching processes, according to the international standard SRPS ISO 9001.
Studies are structured according to the developed educational standards and in line with the interests and needs of the socio-economic development of Serbia. Practical classes are conducted in the so-called “virtual enterprise”. Our students of management are trained to acquire the necessary managerial skills, while classes are held in modernly equipped classrooms of the Faculty. The ultimate goal of education in our “virtual enterprise” is the acquisition of managerial and leadership knowledge coupled with entrepreneurial skills and abilities, simulating methods and techniques that take place in business processes in real companies.
In addition to cooperation with our counterparts in Serbia and abroad, the Faculty has established cooperation with the labor market, the National Employment Service, the National goods and services market of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Association of Managers.
Recognized professors with expertise both in theory and practice teach at our Faculty. The teaching process is conducted in modernly equipped classrooms and the Institute, with active participation of students engaged in case studies and problem-solving tasks from real life. IT support to the teaching process is fully utilized in the following courses: Information Technology, Information Systems, E-business, as well as in the Virtual Enterprise.
