CHALLENGES OF THE MODERN ECONOMY AND SOCIETY THROUGH THE LENS OF THE GREEN ECONOMY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
The Sixth International Scientific Conference “Challenges of the Modern Economy and Society Through the Lens of the Green Economy and Sustainable Development” was held from 25–28 September 2025 at the Educational Centre for Training in Professional and Work Skills.
The conference was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management (FIMEK) and the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary of the University Business Academy, together with the Educational Centre, the Educational and Business Centre for Human Resource Development, Management and Sustainable Development in Novi Sad, the Faculty of Management in Bratislava – Comenius University, the State University of Novi Pazar, and the Biotechnical Centre in Bijelo Polje.
At the opening of the conference, attendees were welcomed on behalf of the organizers by Prof. Branislav Dudić, PhD, Chair of the Organizing Committee and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management, and Tamara Krstić, Marketing Director of the University Business Academy.
Tamara Krstić, Marketing Director of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad and a member of the InnovaCyBridge project team, presented the project supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the EIT Urban Mobility program, implemented in cooperation with partners from the United Kingdom, Greece, Hungary, Israel, and Malta. Following the project presentation, she announced the upcoming Innovation Day at the University and invited all attendees to take part in the event, support the project, and gain new insights in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital forensics.
After the introductory remarks, the conference continued with plenary lectures. Upon their completion, the presentation of accepted papers followed, covering topics related to the green economy and sustainable development, multidisciplinary research approaches, economic theory and policy, and conclusions concerning the advancement of green and sustainable practices.
