On Friday, 21 April 2017, the University Business Academy hosted a workshop on “The Harmonization of Serbian Legislation With the European Union Acquis”, as part of the Jean Monnet module entitled: “Serbia's Accession to the EU”, approved for funding by the European Commission, or more precisely: The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

A retired police colonel, Mr. Mile Novaković, gave a lecture at the University Business Academy on the topic: The Zemun Clan, the Assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić and Operation Sabre - the Untold Story. The lecture was held on 7 March, 2017 in the full auditorium "Prof. Dr. Slavko Carić".
At the International Education Fair called "PUTOKAZI" (eng. “Signposts”), which was held for the twelfth time at the Novi Sad Fair in the period March 6-8 2017, special awards were presented for the first time to the best educational institutions. Among them, University Business Academy in Novi Sad was awarded the Grand Champions Trophy of Novi Sad Fair for the provision of high quality education.
A Debate Club has just started working at the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad. Teaching Assistant Ms. Snežana Plavšić has been appointed President of the Debate Club.
