Institute of Dentistry/ Dental medicine
Clinical work of students, residents and doctoral students is carried out at the Institute of Dentistry. There are six clinics within the Institute of Dentistry with the following characteristics:
- All clinics are fully equipped with the latest equipment produced by world-renowned manufacturers;
- The most modern dental materials are used in work with patients;
- Work in the above mentioned clinics is performed through all stages of patient care and assistance, from diagnosis to the implant placement and complete prosthetic care, including metal and nonmetal ceramics;
- Each year approximately 1,600 patients come for an appointment and receive proper care at our Institute of Dentistry;
- Clinical application of lasers has been introduced in the daily work with patients;
- For diagnosis in clinical practice “Orthopan” (Panoramic radiograph) and “Orthoceph” are used; digital X-rays system/digital imaging
- All prosthetics work is performed in the faculty dental prosthetics laboratory;
