The Days of Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship officially commenced on 29 May 2019 in the Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, University Business Academy, in Novi Sad. The event was jointly organized by the Social Entrepreneurship Cluster of Vojvodina - KASPEV and the Law Faculty in Novi Sad. The project was realized with the support of the City of Novi Sad Directorate for Economy and Tourism.

Rector of the University Business Academy, Prof. Mirko Kulić, Ph.D., welcomed the audience and used the opportunity to give support to the promotion and development of social entrepreneurship as an efficient and sustainable concept of alternative economy.

Mr. Pavle Počuč, Deputy Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina delivered a speech on social entrepreneurship, the development of the third sector and social economy. "You, young students of the final years, should be the carrier pillars of progress and prosperity of the AP Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia, who have a task to fulfill the already initiated mission of creating a more humane, more just and better society," emphasized Mr. Počuč in his speech.

Prof. Lazar Ožegović Ph.D. familiarized the present students with the concepts of social entrepreneurship and business incubators. Siniša Tešić, Project manager of the Social Entrepreneurship Cluster of Vojvodina, presented digital social innovations and different trends and directions in the development of social entrepreneurship to the audience. Jano Puškar, representative of the “European Affairs“ Fund, talked about the possibilities of financing innovations through EU funds.

Students who demostrate the necessary knowledge and show interest in social entrepreneurship during lectures of prof. Ožegović will be given the opportunity to get involved in the practice of improving social entrepreneurship.
