BUSINESS DELEGATION FROM THE SYRIAN ARAB REPUBLIC VISIT THE UNIVERSITY BUSINESS ACADEMY
A business delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic, consisting of Walid Raffoul, Honorary Consul of Serbia in the Syrian Arab Republic, and Mazen Hamad, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Syrian Arab Republic, visited the University Business Academy in Novi Sad on May 14, 2024. They were ceremoniously hosted by Prof. Dr. Dragan Soleša, Rector of the University Business Academy, Prof. Dr. Ivan Joksić, full professor at the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, and Tamara Krstić, marketing director of the University Business Academy. The aim of the visit was mutual introduction and establishment of cooperation before signing a Memorandum of Understanding, which will be the first step in their future collaboration in the field of scientific and educational activities.
“Syria is a country of young people who want to learn, who invest a lot in their education, and I believe we will easily find common forms of cooperation. We will soon sign a cooperation agreement with one of their universities and establish grounds for student and staff exchanges. As a starting point, the University Business Academy will sponsor the education of one student from the Syrian Arab Republic,” said Prof. Dr. Dragan Soleša.
